The film ‘The Kashmir Files’, made on the massacre and displacement of Kashmiri Pandits, is in a lot of discussion these days. The debate about this firm is going on not only among the general public but even in the House. So far this film has become tax free in 8 states of the country. At the same time, there is a demand to make this film tax free in Delhi too. This demand has been rejected outright by the Kejriwal government.
Actor Gajendra Chauhan has attacked Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for not making the film tax free. He wrote on his Twitter handle, “Why is the Chief Minister of Delhi, Kejriwal ji, who is making Free Free Free, not making #kashmirfiles tax-free, a film based on true events in Delhi.” After this tweet of the actor, a line of comments has started.
Responding to Gajendra Chauhan’s tweet, a patriot public servant wrote, “If a movie is made on the free Godhra incident, it will be free in Gujarat. Lakhimpur Kheri files will be free and Kashmiri files happened during Atal ji’s rule, why Modi ji is throwing stones at Atal ji even after his death. Durvasha wrote, “Gajju bhai, why is the central government not making the film GST free?”
Bilesh Kadam wrote, “Such a good film, Sarkar should show this film on every channel on TV like Sooryavansham. Why do people pay money to know the truth. As Vivek has made this film to make the public aware. Money is not necessary for them. Let’s release it on TV and OTT.”
Shalini Hindu wrote, “Everyone is afraid of freeing a thing of reality. What if the public woke up and remembered the Delhi riots? As much as the MCD is working hard for the elections, if the public has thrown it away. Everyone feels scared.”
Saurabh wrote, “Whoever wants to see for free, see by investing money. A film that spreads poison in the country should not be tax free and should be given an expensive rate!” Devinandi Mishra wrote, “Had this film been made on any other religion, in which Hindus are committing atrocities, then Kejriwal would have made it free immediately.” The cylinder of the general public is 50 rupees more expensive.
