The trailer of the film ‘Prithviraj’ based on the life and valor of the mighty Hindu emperor Prithviraj Chauhan has been launched. The film stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role. Manushi Chillar will be seen in the role of Sanyogita with him. This is his debut film. The teaser of the film had arrived long back. The film got delayed due to Corona. The trailer launch was done in a grand event. During this, Akshay, Manushi and the film’s director Chandraprakash Dwivedi were present on the stage and answered the questions of the journalists. The story of the film impressed Akshay so much that he wanted it to be shown to school children.
Akshay’s answer
In the program, a journalist asked Akshay Kumar that ‘if he wants all the people in the world to see this film, would he want to show the film to Prime Minister Narendra Modi?’ On this question, Akshay replied in a funny way. He said, ‘What would I like to show… if they have to see, they will see for themselves… Who am I to show?’ Hearing his words, other people there laugh.
Film completed in one and a half months
Akshay told that he finished shooting the film in 42 days. The film would have arrived earlier but it was delayed due to Corona. Akshay said, ‘I took 42 days, come at the right time, go at the right time, the film ends in 40-50 days. They just stopped because of COVID, otherwise when would it have come.’

Apart from Akshay and Manushi, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood in important roles. The film will hit theaters on June 3. It is produced by Yash Raj Films.
