Some people are protesting about the film ‘The Kashmir Files’. Calling it a film that dissolves propaganda and poison in the society. Some people have even said that the recent riots in Rajasthan, attack on the gate of Gorakhpur temple and firing on a Pandit in Kashmir are the result of this film. When the film’s director Vivek Agnihotri was asked a question on this, see what was the answer.
Regarding the film ‘The Kashmir Files’, Vivek Agnihotri was asked that your film is being accused that it is doing poison in the society, because of your film there are allegations of riots in the country? What would you like to say on the allegations that the incident in Karauli and Gorakhpur is being linked to your film?
Talking to Times Now channel, in response to the question, Vivek Agnihotri said that ‘there are two types of people, one is those who believe in humanity and the other are those who are associated with terror. Who broke the historical places of India? I didn’t. Kashmir was a hundred percent Hindu land, today not a single Kashmiri Pandit lives there, I did not drive them away.
Vivek said that “about three crore people have seen this film, those who saw the film did not abuse anyone. The people who spoke against the film are those who did not go to see the film. The only thing that is coming in the minds of those watching the film is that this should not happen to us now, that’s all.”
Vivek Agnihotri said that 130 crore people live in India. There will be some quirks in this as well. If a film can incite people to riot, can incite terrorists, then a film like Haider, which glorified terrorists, should it be believed that people are becoming terrorists only because of those films? If people say that people become terrorists because of persecution, this is absolutely wrong. This is religious frenzy.
Let us tell you that since its release, a controversy has arisen regarding the film Kashmir Files. Some people of the society allege that lies have been shown in the film, an attempt is being made to instigate people through the film, while some people believe that by doing this film the truth of the atrocities on Kashmiri Pandits has come to the fore. For years people were ignorant.
