It is not only a religious but also a scientific reason. These days many people change their daily lives. In this, people also change their ways from living to their food and drink.

In the villages of India, especially in the Hindi belt, a proverb is very famous who tells with great comfortable manner what to eat and what to avoid. In this folk saying, ‘Sawan Sag Na Bhado Dahi’ is mentioned.

Milk products should be avoided in the spring because these days most of the worms buried in the ground come up and infect the grass or green things. Grass cows or buffaloes eat only whose milk comes in our homes, which can be harmful to health. Yogurt should not be eaten because these days there is a growth of moisture and germs in the atmosphere, causing harmful bacteria. In addition, the curd of curd is cold, which also leads to fear of colds and colds.

Ayurveda is of the opinion that due to rain, the digestive power of people is weak, while the effect of garlic and onion is heated, which is likely to cause flatulence, gas and indigestion.

Charaka Samhita advises not to eat brinjal in the month of Sawan, mainly due to its nature and digestion effect. Brinjal is considered ‘vegetables growing in dirt’, and in spring moisture, it is more likely to apply insects, which may increase the risk of infection.

In the Sushruta Samhita, eating green leafy vegetables in the spring is considered taboo because in this season, most of the worms buried in the ground come up and infect green leafy vegetables, causing fear of increasing the risk of viral infection.
