People who take care of fitness definitely drink fruits or juice daily. Eating 1-2 fruits a day is a sign of being healthy. However, some people are very lazy to eat fruits, so they drink fruit juice. Getting juice seems tastier and goes inside the stomach easily, but doctors do not consider juice to be very beneficial. Let us know what is more beneficial for health, eating fruits or drinking juice?

What is better – fruits or fruit juice?
Dr. Priyanka of AIIMS has shared a video on social media. In this video, Dr. Priyanka is advising her patients to never drink fruit juice. He says that one should never drink fruit juice, instead one should eat plain fruits. This is because when juice is made from fruits, the dietary fiber of the fruits is reduced or eliminated. Whereas dietary fiber is needed to keep the intestine healthy and get rid of constipation. At the same time, by drinking juice, the sugar level in the body starts increasing. Which can be dangerous.

Benefits of eating fruits
Stomach problems go away: Eating fruits daily provides many benefits to the body. By eating fruits the body gets plenty of fiber. This removes the problem of constipation. Eating fruits daily keeps the digestive system healthy and stomach related problems start reducing.

Weight loss- By consuming fiber, the increased body weight also starts reducing. Eating apple, guava and pear especially helps in reducing weight. Vitamins and plenty of fiber are found in these fruits. Fruits contain little to no calories and fat. By eating these you can control calorie intake.

Reduces cholesterol- Fruits contain low amount of sodium, due to which eating fruits helps in reducing high cholesterol. Fruits are rich in vitamins and minerals. Many fruits contain vitamins A, C and E. Fruits are also good sources of magnesium, zinc, phosphorus, potassium and folic acid. This reduces blood pressure, obesity and lifestyle related diseases.
