Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan has received death threats. Janasena Party has given this information. Janasena Party said, ‘Threatening calls were received in the office of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. Some unknown person called and threatened to kill. The anonymous caller also sent messages using objectionable language targeting the Deputy Chief Minister. The office staff brought the threatening calls and messages to the attention of the Deputy Chief Minister. Officials from his office have informed the matter to senior police officers.
Where did the threatening calls come from?
Janasena Party said that the office staff of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan received threatening calls from Agantakudi. A person had warned that he (Deputy CM) would be killed. In this sequence, he sent warning messages in objectionable language. The production staff brought the threatening calls and messages to the attention of the Deputy Chief Minister. The presenting officers informed senior police officers about the threatening calls and messages.

Some time ago, Pawan Kalyan came into limelight when he expressed concern over the attack on a Hindu temple in Canada. Terming the attack as more than an isolated incident, Pawan Kalyan had said that he was deeply saddened by the incident and hoped that the Canadian government would take necessary steps to ensure the safety of the Hindu community there.
Pawan Kalyan had said in a post on social media that Hindus are a global minority, hence they are given very little attention, less solidarity is shown with them and they are easily targeted. He said every act of hatred, every case of abuse against Hindus is a blow to all those who value humanity and peace. He said that I am deeply saddened to see that our Hindu brothers and sisters in countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan and recently Bangladesh are facing oppression, violence and unimaginable suffering.
