Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced on Friday that free electricity will be given to the people of the state. He also informed that the state government has sanctioned Rs 50,000 crore for 430 new schemes, which will benefit people.

Nitish Kumar promised that the state government would provide employment to one crore youth in the next five years. “There was no electricity during the tenure of the previous government. There was only eight hours of electricity in the Patna. We managed everything. Consumers used to pay a lot of money for electricity bills. We have decided that electricity will be given for free. During the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a public meeting in Motihari said, “We will hold a cabinet meeting and decide on it today.” He said, “We have already given 10 lakh government jobs to the youth and are working to provide more jobs. In the coming five years, we will decide to give jobs to one crore youth.”

The Chief Minister of Bihar announced the state government’s decision to increase the pension amount to Rs 1,100 for the disabled, senior citizens and widows.

Kumar said, “The pension amount given to Divyang, senior citizens and widows was only Rs 400. However, we have decided to increase it to Rs 1,100. This will benefit more than 1.11 crore people.” Applying the people present for Bihar in the upcoming 2025 Union Budget, he said that the government will establish the market, which will improve the market, the government will improve and release.

Nitish Kumar said, “We are surveying many regions of the state. We are trying to overcome the shortcomings. We have sanctioned Rs 50,000 crore for 430 new schemes and we are working on them. The Chief Minister of Bihar accused the previous governments of “no work”, saying that the NDA government has been committed to rapid development in the state since 2005, while focusing on education and health sectors.

Kumar said, “Before the formation of the BJP-JDU government in November 2005, the previous government did not do any work. Every region is developing rapidly. We have paid attention to education and health. Road infrastructure including bridges in Bihar has been developed.”

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that more than 60 lakh houses have been constructed in Bihar under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

He said, “During the 11 -year tenure of Prime Minister Modi, more than 60 lakh houses were built in Bihar under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.” Prior to the public ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Rajendra Nagar Terminal (Patna) to New Delhi, Bapudham Motihari to Delhi (Anand Vihar Terminal), Darbhanga to Lucknow (Gomti Nagar) and Malda Town to Lucknow (Gomti Nagar) Bhagalpur.
