New Delhi. Delhi’s new Chief Minister Rekha Gupta presented the report of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) in the Assembly. According to this report, Delhi has suffered a loss of Rs 2,026.91 crore due to the new liquor policy brought by the Aam Aadmi Party government in 2021-2022. The CAG report also said that the rules in the process of issuing excise licenses. Among the 14 reports of the CAG, the report related to the liquor policy scam was presented in the House today. In the other report of the CAG, many other scams during the tenure have also been exposed.

Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta said that the report of the Aam Aadmi Party had pressed the report. The Speaker said that the CAG report was not presented in the assembly after 2017-18 during the tenure of AAP government in Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi’s government violated the constitution. Vijender Gupta said that while being the Leader of Opposition in the House, I and five other opposition leaders had requested the Speaker, CM and Chief Secretary to present the report. But the government had suppressed the report. The High Court had said in the case related to the CAG report that if you do not present the report of the CAG government, then it is a disregard of the constitutional mandate.

Our agenda is to develop Delhi, make Delhi developed Delhi, to clean the Yamuna, to eliminate the garbage mountain from Delhi and provide facilities to the poor.
