Jyoti Malhotra’s father’s big statement
Harish Malhotra, father of YouTuber and alleged Pakistani detective Jyoti Malhotra, a resident of Hisar, Haryana, has made a big statement after his daughter’s arrest. Harish Malhotra said that her daughter had gone to the neighboring country to shoot a video and she asked why she could not contact her friends living in the country if she wanted to do so. The ANI news agency quoted Malhotra as saying, “She made a YouTube video. She used to go to Pakistan and elsewhere. If she has some friends there, can she not call them? Can’t call them? I have no demand, but give us our phones. A case has been registered against us.” He said that his daughter had taken all the necessary permissions before going to Pakistan.
Why is Jyoti Malhotra arrested?
Haryana Police has arrested Jyoti Rani Malhotra from Hisar, Haryana, for espionage for Pakistani agencies. His father Harish Malhotra said that the police came to his house on Thursday and seized his bank documents, phones, laptops and passports. Hisar DSP Kamaljeet said that the police have recovered some “suspicious things” from his mobile and laptop. According to him, Jyoti was sharing sensitive information with Pakistani officials.
Kamaljeet said, “Based on the input present we have, we arrested Harish Kumar’s daughter Jyoti under the official secrecy act and Section 152 of BNS.

The DSP said, “He had allegedly met Pakistani officer Ahsan-ur-Rahim in Delhi and then traveled to Pakistan twice.” During the initial investigation, Jyoti revealed that she went to the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi to apply for a visa in 2023, where she met Ahsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish. According to ANI, Jyoti revealed that she met a person acquaintance of Ahsan-ur-Rahim, who arranged for her stay and travel and also held meetings with Pakistani security and intelligence agencies.
