With the latest statement of former Bihar Congress president Akhilesh Prasad Singh, there is a possibility of an uproar in the politics of the state, its echoes can be heard till remote Telangana. In fact, former Bihar Congress president Akhilesh Prasad Singh has described Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM as communal. Whereas, CM Revanth Reddy, who is running the Congress government in Telangana, tied the bridges of praise of Asaduddin Owaisi. There are elections in Bihar this year and on the statement of Akhilesh Prasad Singh, there is a possibility of AIMIM.

All the Congress leaders have been calling Owaisi’s AIMIM as ‘B’ team of BJP many times, but for the first time a senior leader of Congress has described the party of Asaduddin Owaisi as communal. Whereas, Owaisi was praised by CM Revanth Reddy in Telangana. Revanth Reddy praised Owaisi in September 2024 and described him as an MP who raises the poor in Parliament. At the same time, in January 2025, Asaduddin Owaisi also praised Telangana CM Revanth Reddy in a program.
In Telangana, Congress government CM Revanth Reddy was seen feeding Owaisi with hands in Rosa Iftar. Reddy and Owaisi also praised each other.
Asaduddin Owaisi had written a letter to Lalu Yadav, the biggest leader of the grand alliance of opposition parties in Bihar. Owaisi wrote in the letter that if the BJP is to be defeated in the Bihar assembly elections, then AIMIM should also be taken in the grand alliance. There was no response from Lalu Yadav on this. Five MLAs of Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM were elected in the Bihar Legislative Assembly. However, four of them joined Lalu Yadav’s RJD. At present, Akhtarul Iman is left as AIMIM MLA in Bihar Legislative Assembly. It is believed that this time too, Owaisi will field his party candidate and many places including Muslim -dominated Seemanchal area of Bihar.
