‘From Dabbawalas to Madhuri Dixit’, who came to see the swearing-in ceremony of Devendra Fadnavis?

New Delhi. 11 days after the election results were declared in Maharashtra, the state has finally got a new government. Devendra Fadnavis took oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the third time today. Along with him, Shiv Sena (Mahayuti) president Eknath Shinde and NCP president Ajit Pawar took oath as deputy CMs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Ministers of BJP-NDA ruled states, Deputy CMs and many Union Ministers were also present in this grand ceremony. The swearing-in ceremony was held at Azad Maidan in Mumbai, in which a large number of general public also participated. From dabba vendors to Muslim women, everyone made their presence felt on the field to be a part of this historic moment of ‘Deva Bhau’.

The swearing-in ceremony started at 5:30 pm. Many senior BJP leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman were present on the occasion. A huge crowd of common people was seen at the main gate of Azad Maidan. People from different districts and villages of Maharashtra reached the function in buses and private vehicles. The excitement and enthusiasm of the people in the field was palpable. A large number of Muslim women were also seen in this swearing-in. Women who came from different areas of Maharashtra said that they wanted to see ‘Deva Bhau’ take oath as the Chief Minister, hence they reached here.

Presence of big leaders of NDA

Many prominent leaders of NDA were also present at the function. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also registered their presence. Apart from this, religious leaders, big stars of Bollywood and celebrities from the industry also became a part of this grand event.
