New Delhi. In the Rajya Sabha today, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said something on which the controversy started. BJP President JP Nadda stood on his seat and protested, while cutting Kharge’s talk in between. However, the Congress President later apologized to the House for his statement. In fact, before the discussion on the functioning of the Ministry of Education, Mallikarjun Kharge said that we have come for full preparation for discussion and we will hit it properly. When the Deputy Chairman asked him to sit, then Kharge said, is the dictatorship going on.
Union Minister JP Nadda passed the matter of Kharge’s point. He objected to Kharge’s statement by standing from his seat. He also said that the Congress President has insulted both the House and the Chairman using such a word. Nadda said that such words cannot be expected from Mallikarjun Kharge, the Leader of the Opposition in such a long political experience. This statement of Kharge is condemnable. He should apologize for his statement.
However, after this Mallikarjun Kharge stood in his place and he said to Deputy Chairman Harivansh, I did not say this for you, but if I am hurt by my statement, I apologize. Kharge said that he had said that for the government. Nadda again objected to this. Nadda said that the kind of word you have used for the government is very condemnable. With this, Nadda demanded from the Deputy Chairman that Kharge’s statement should be removed from the record of the proceedings of the House. On this, Deputy Chairman said that this statement will be removed from the proceedings.
