In the case of Indian nurse Nimisha Priya, who is jailed in Yemen, Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal has said that the Indian government is providing all possible assistance in this case. We are in constant contact with Nimisha’s family and local citizens of Yemen. A lawyer has also been appointed to help the family. We are closely monitoring the matter. In this case, India is also taking help of some friendly countries. Nimisha was to be hanged on July 16 on the charge of killing a citizen of Yemen, which is currently postponed after India’s intervention.
