New Delhi. On the occasion of National Space Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today congratulated the scientists, youth and ISRO of the country. Modi said, National Space Day has become an opportunity for enthusiasm and attraction among our youth, it is a matter of pride for the country. Creating new milestones one after the other in the field of space, it has become the nature of the scientists of our country. Today, India is moving rapidly in decisive technology sector like Semi Cryogenic Engine and Electric Propulsion. Soon, with the hard work of scientists, India will also fill the flight of Gaganyaan and India will also build its space station in the coming times.

PM Modi further said, today space-technology is also becoming a part of governance in India. There is satellite-based assessment in crop insurance scheme, information and security being given to fishermen through satellite, disaster management or PM speed power should use geophysical data in National Master Plan, India’s progress in space is making the life of ordinary citizens easier today. On the other hand, ISRO chief V. Narayanan, while referring to all the achievements related to the Indian Space Mission, said that 23 August 2023 was a historic day. India successfully made a soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 near the southern pole of the moon. We became the only country to do so.

Narayanan said, the Prime Minister of India, who is a visionary leader and our minister gave us guidelines to carry out space activities. PM Modi named the landing site of Chandrayaan-3 as ‘Shiv Shakti’. He also declared National Space Day on 23 August.
