A video has gone viral during the Congress’s ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’, in which someone from the crowd on the stage grabbed the mic and made indecent comments about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s late mother. The event was decorated with posters of Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav.
The BJP reacted strongly to its official X handle. The party wrote, “Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav’s Yatra Manch used such a indecent language against the late mother of Prime Minister Modi that it cannot be repeated. Such lowness has never been seen in politics. This journey has crossed all the boundaries of humiliation, hatred and vulgarity.”
BJP also said in its post that Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav made Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Even invited leaders like Stalin and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, “who had earlier insulted Biharis.” The post further wrote, “Now in frustration, these people are abusing Prime Minister Modi’s revered mother.
At the same time, Madhya Pradesh minister and senior BJP leader Vishwas Kailash Sarang said in a conversation with ANI in Bhopal, “The whole world respects Prime Minister Modi and Rahul Gandhi is insulting him in this way. Rahul Gandhi himself should come and apologize to the public.”
No official response has been revealed by Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav or his parties at the moment. Explain that this ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ of Rahul Gandhi is a campaign to carry forward the allegations of “stolen elections” on the BJP and the Election Commission.
