Highlighting the success of Operation Sindoor in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Indian Army destroyed the terrorist bases on camera, so that no evidence would be demanded. Addressing the rally in Dahod on the first day of the two -day visit to Gujarat, he said that this operation is a symbol of Indian values and sovereignty of the country.
On April 22, the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, in which 26 people lost their lives, shook the country. In response to this attack, on 7 May, the Indian Army destroyed nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and POK under Operation Sindoor.
Modi praised the army’s accuracy and the strength of indigenous weapons, using drones and missiles. He said, “India is clear in our policy against terrorism. We will not only answer, but will end the source of terror.”
The PM warned Pakistan that the price of supporting terrorism would have to be paid. Thousands of people greeted the army by waving the tricolor during the road show in Vadodara. Modi called it a wave of patriotism and said that Operation Sindoor displayed India’s strength and resolve on the global stage.
He appealed to the public to remain united against terrorism and support the army for the security of the country. This operation is also a proof of India’s self -sufficient defense policy.
