Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) allies Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress to prevent development in Bihar and appealed to voters to “save” the state from their “malicious” intentions before the end of this year.
Addressing a public meeting in Motihari after dedicating projects worth Rs 72,00 crore for Bihar, the Prime Minister accused the Congress and RJD of doing politics in the name of poor, Dalits, backward and tribals, but never ensured equal rights.
The Prime Minister said, “Congress and RJD have been doing politics in the name of poor, Dalits, backward and tribals. But far away, they often fail to show respect for people outside their family. The ego of these people is watching the whole of Bihar today. We have to save Bihar from their malicious intentions.”
Taking the attack further, Prime Minister Modi said that it was impossible for the poor to get such a sure house in Bihar and the Congress. He said, “It was impossible for the poor to get such a pucca house for the poor under the RJD and the Congress. People were not able to get their homes dyeing and painting, for the fear that even if they got it done, the landlords will not know them.
He said, “Bihar is the land of brave people which make the impossible also possible.” You guys have freed this earth from the shackles of RJD and Congress, have made impossible possible. This is the result of this that the schemes of welfare of poor in Bihar are reaching the poor directly today. ” PM Modi emphasized that it is important for today’s generation to know how Bihar was immersed in disappointment two decades ago.
