Rajasthani YouTuber detained
Tirupati: Blowing drones over the Tirumala temple has cost a Rajasthani YouTuber expensive and has been taken into custody. The police has also registered a case against this YouTuber and investigation is also going on against him.
What is the whole matter?
The temple body said in a release that TTD vigilance personnel on Tuesday detained a YouTuber on charges of blowing a drone on Harinam Sankirtan Mandapam in Tirumala. Vigilance personnel identified YouTuber as Anshuman Tareja of Rajasthan.
The release said, “TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam) Vigilance personnel identified a YouTuber named Anshuman Tareja of Rajasthan, who on Tuesday evening had a drone in Harinam Sankirtan Mandapam of Tirumala.” Tareja was immediately detained and the drone was seized and handed over to the police. The police have registered a case and investigation is on.
What is TTD?
It is worth noting that the temple is operated by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), which is under the control of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The head of TTD is appointed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. In simple language, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) is an independent trust managing the famous temple of Lord Venkateswara (Balaji) located in Andhra Pradesh, India.
