New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Hazaribagh in Jharkhand today and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth more than Rs 80 thousand crores. During this, while addressing the program, Prime Minister Modi said, our tribal society will progress only when the youth of the tribal society get good opportunities, for this our government is working very hard to build Eklavya residential schools in the tribal areas. In this sequence, 40 Eklavya residential schools have been inaugurated here today. When right efforts are made, right results are achieved.

The PM said, today I once again have the privilege of participating in the development journey of Jharkhand. Just a few days ago, I visited Jamshedpur, where I launched development projects worth hundreds of crores of rupees for Jharkhand. There are thousands of poor people in Jharkhand who got permanent houses under PM Awas Yojana. Today I have returned to Jharkhand to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth more than Rs 80,000 crore.

The Prime Minister said, today is the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. His vision and ideas for tribal development are our capital. Mahatma Gandhi believed that India could develop only when there was rapid development of tribal society. I am very happy that Dharti Abha Tribal Gram Utkarsh Yojana is being started from the land of Lord Birsa Munda.

Modi said, PM Janman Yojana was also started from Jharkhand on the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda. Next month on 15th November, on Tribal Pride Day, we will celebrate the first anniversary of PM Janman Yojana. Today, through PM Janman Yojana, development is reaching those tribal areas of the country which were neglected earlier. Many development projects have also been inaugurated here.
