Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the water level of Yamuna came down from the danger mark on Wednesday morning and the government is closely monitoring the situation.

The Chief Minister told in a post on ‘X’ that the water level of Yamuna on the old railway bridge at six in the morning was 204.76 meters, which is below the danger mark.

The danger mark in Yamuna for Delhi is 205.33 meters. From Tuesday, the water level in the river started decreasing. He said, “It is a matter of satisfaction that the water level of Yamuna is now far below the danger mark. The drainage rate remains higher than inward.

He said, “Be confident, the situation is completely under control. Our monitoring and management system is active round the clock and every situation is being closely monitored.

The Chief Minister said that 31,016 cusecs from Hathinikund barrage and 41,200 cusecs of water from Wazirabad Barrage were released, while the withdrawal from Okhla barrage is 79,840 cusecs.
