New Delhi. In view of the situation like war with Pakistan, Indian Railways has taken a precautionary decision that trains will not be run in border areas like Jammu and Punjab at night. The trains which pass through the border errors like Amritsar, Batinda, Ferozepur, Pathankot and Jammu at night will change their time and run them during the day. This decision will affect the operation of more than 15 trains. However, trains of the day time will run according to their predetermined time. There has been no change in their schedule.
Taking another decision, the Railways has canceled all the short distance trains running from the border areas of Jammu and Punjab. The operation of all these trains will remain closed till further orders. It is believed that the operation of these trains will be resumed only after the situation on the border is normal. Railways have also decided to run special trains during the day. The Ministry of Railways has tightened security in the stations with border areas for security point of view. Additional soldiers have been deployed here. Let us tell you that Pakistan is also targeting the civilian areas and hospitals of India by doing cowardly acts.
Although the Indian Army is giving a befitting reply to every attack of Pakistan and has demolished most missiles and drones in the air, despite this, Pakistani attacks have been damaged in the border areas of Jammu and some places in Punjab. At the same time, a red alert has been declared regarding the high attack in the Jaisalmer region of Rajasthan. For this reason, the movement of all kinds of trains at Jaisalmer station has been postponed in view of the advice of the local district administration. Jaisalmer station will be closed till further orders.
