New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah introduced three important bills in the Lok Sabha today, due to which the opposition created a lot of uproar. There is a provision to remove the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister or the Chief Minister or Minister of the Union Territory from the post for 30 consecutive days of serious criminal charges among these bills. Other opposition parties, including Congress, like SP and AIMIM, protested against the bill and demanded withdrawal of it. The Constitution (130th Amendment) Bill, 2025, Union Territory of Government (Amendment) Bill, 2025, Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization (Amendment) Bill, 2025 have been sent to the Joint Committee of Parliament (JPC).

During the uproar in Parliament, the opposition MPs tore copies of the bill and rose to Home Minister Amit Shah, on which the Home Minister was agitated. Congress MP K.C. Venugopal opposed the bill and said that I want to ask the Home Minister a question? He was arrested when he was the Home Minister of Gujarat. To this Shah replied, I want to clear the record. When I was made false allegations, I resigned citing morality and I did not take any constitutional post until I was acquitted by the court. This gives us the importance of morality.

Earlier, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav said, Amit Shah is taking such decisions to save his chair. No dictator of the world has been able to save its chair. The fight for religion always goes on, the struggle for justice and injustice will always go on. On the other hand, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said in protest against the bill that it weakens the right to choose the government. At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party MP Anurag Dhanga called it a dictatorship of the government.
