The Meteorological Department has estimated that there will be snowfall and heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh due to western disturbance. Whereas, rainfall is expected in other parts of Uttarakhand. Western UP, Eastern UP, Punjab, Rajasthan and Haryana are also expected to have hailstorm with rain in many places. The Meteorological Department has estimated that there will be rain in several states including Assam, Meghalaya in the Northeast due to cyclonic proliferation. In Arunachal Pradesh, Northeast, snow may fall at some places. This phase of weather in the Northeast will remain till Monday.

The Meteorological Department has also warned of heat stroke. Lu has been warned in Kutch in Gujarat, some areas of Odisha, Vidarbha in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Ganga coastal areas of West Bengal.
