Vodafone Idea share: ATC Telecom Infrastructure on Friday sold its entire 2.87 per cent stake in telecom company Vodafone-Idea (VIL) for Rs 1,840 crore through an open market deal. American Tower Corporation (ATC) is among the largest infrastructure service provider companies for telecom infrastructure VI. According to the deal information available on NSE, ATC Telecom Infrastructure Pvt Ltd sold 2.87 per cent stake in VIL i.e. a total of 144 crore shares. The shares were disposed of at an average price of Rs 12.78 per share, making the entire deal worth Rs 1,840.32 crore.
Citigroup bought 0.98% stake
Meanwhile, Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius acquired over 49.12 crore shares or 0.98 per cent stake in VIL. The shares were purchased at an average price of Rs 12.70. Thus, the deal value stood at Rs 623.88 crore. However, Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius sold 98.74 lakh shares of VIL at Rs 13.47 apiece. Thus, the deal value stood at Rs 13.30 crore.
The stock closed with gains
Shares of Vodafone Idea Limited closed with gains on Friday. The stock closed at Rs 14.01 with a gain of 0.86 per cent or Rs 0.12. The 52 week high of Vodafone Idea share is Rs 18.42. At the same time, 52 week low of this share is Rs 6.54. The market cap of the company closed at Rs 93,143.32 crore on BSE on Friday.
