Patna. Two youths riding a bike died on the spot in a road accident in Sarfabad area of Gaurichak police station area of the capital Patna. After the local people informed the police about the incident, the police reached the spot, took both the bodies in their custody and sent them to Nalanda Medical College for post-mortem. The incident is said to have happened early in the morning.
The deceased have been identified as Ankit Kumar, 28, son of Veer Mani Jamadar, resident of Mehtarma village of Tharthari police station area of Nalanda district, while the other deceased has been identified as Ashutosh Kumar, 25, son of Santosh Kumar, resident of the same village. It is said that Ankit Kumar and Ashutosh Kumar were going from Nalanda to Beldari Tola of Gaurichak police station area riding on the same bike to attend a wedding ceremony.
Meanwhile, when dodged by a big vehicle passing through the road near Sarfabad of Gaurichak police station area, the bike went out of control and overturned into a big pit on the side of the road, due to which both of them died on the spot. After the villagers informed the police about the incident, the police reached the spot, took both the bodies in their custody and sent them to Nalanda Medical College for post-mortem.
When asked about the incident, deceased’s relative Lal Sav Prasad and Gaurichak police station policeman Ramswarath Paswan confirmed the incident and said the cause of death was a road accident. Due to the simultaneous death of two youths of the village, there is a mourning silence among the family members.
