Noida. Gautam Budh Nagar District Police in Uttar Pradesh has arrested three suspected members of Bavariya Gang and recovered stolen goods worth more than Rs 20 lakh from them. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Shakti Mohan Awasthi said that Sector 20 police station and the quick reaction team of Gautam Buddha Nagar have arrested the miscreants associated with the Bawariya gang in a joint operation.
Awasthi said, ‘These people are originally from Punjab. Here he used to carry out chain snatching incidents on motorcycles. Later, to mislead the police, they would park the bike anywhere and run away in the car.

Awasthi told reporters, ‘Ten chains weighing about 100 grams each have been seized from their possession and their value is Rs 8-9 lakh. A motorcycle and a car stolen by them have been seized. Police said they have also seized three pistols and some cartridges from the accused.
