According to the information, Harkirat, the keeper of the Forest Department, saw old pieces of iron covered with plastic sacks lying in the forest on Friday, which he informed his officials. After this the forest department officials informed the police. When the police reached the spot, they suspected it to be a bomb. On this, the police station in-charge, Shahzadpur Rajesh Kumar informed the higher officials about it. Simultaneously, the Bomb Disposal Squad was also called to the spot.
On receiving the information, the Bomb Disposal Squad reached the spot. On investigation, prima facie these old rusted bomb shells are being told. These were kept at the bottom of old plastic bags, some of which had come out. The Bomb Disposal Squad carefully pulled out all the bomb shells, after which it was counted. In this regard, the station in-charge Rajesh Kumar said that he had received information from the guard of the forest department this afternoon. After this, he reached the spot along with his team and informed the higher officials as well as the Bomb Disposal Squad when there was a possibility of a bomb.
