Inverter Battery Explosion
Inverter Battery Explosion: Four members of a family died in Delhi due to fire in the inverter battery. Recently, many incidents of fire in AC have also been reported in Delhi-NCR. Most of the incidents of fire in electronic devices happen due to maintenance and overloading. This incident of fire in the inverter battery is also pointing towards this. If the report is to be believed, there is an explosion in the inverter and the battery kept with it around 3 am in the morning, due to which the whole house catches fire. This can happen to anyone. In such a situation, if you also have an inverter in your house, then it can also catch fire. For this, you have to keep these things in mind.
Battery Maintenance
Maintenance of the battery used with the inverter is very important. If the water in the battery used in the inverter dries up, it can overheat, which can cause a fire. In such a situation, you should check the water in your inverter battery from time to time. Some experts say that the water in the battery used in the inverter should be checked every 45 days and only distilled water should be used when the water level is low.
Checking the wiring
A short-circuit in the wiring of the inverter can also cause a fire. In such a situation, you should keep checking the wiring of the inverter. Not only this, if you are installing an inverter in your house, then use only high quality wire in it. Due to high quality wiring, the chances of loose connection or fire are less. Not only this, the load given on the inverter should also be taken care of. Use the inverter according to the appliances you use. Fire can also occur in the inverter due to excessive load.
Ventilation
Just like a fridge and AC, an inverter also needs ventilation. When there is a load on the inverter, it heats up. In such a situation, if the device does not get air, it can heat up and catch fire. Apart from this, maintain proper space between the inverter and the battery. Due to less ventilation, the inverter does not get proper air, due to which it can catch fire.
