Aurangabad (Bihar). Six teenage girls allegedly consumed poisonous substance in Kasma police station area of Aurangabad district of Bihar, in which three girls died. The police is prima facie calling it a case of love affair. A police officer said on Saturday that in Chiraila village, 6 girls ate poison together. Of these, 3 have died, while 3 are still being treated in the hospital, which are said to be out of danger.
According to the police, they were all friends. The police has started the investigation It is said that all these friends had gone for a walk near the village on Friday evening and ate poisonous substances.
The deceased have been identified as Neelam Kumari, Kajal Kumari and Anisha Kumari. Everyone’s age is between 12 and 14 years.
Aurangabad Superintendent of Police Kantesh Kumar Mishra said that in the preliminary investigation, the matter of love affair has come to the fore. The deceased, a teenager, was having an affair with a relative. Meanwhile, the teenager got hurt due to the refusal of marriage proposal and ate poisonous substances with friends.
He, however, also said that the police is probing from all angles. Why the friends ate the poisonous substance together, it is not yet known.
The bodies have been sent to the hospital for post-mortem. The victim girls will also be questioned.
