He is worshiped by the tribal society. The idol had come from a woman in the UK. In fact, Christopher Marinello, the founder of Art Recovery International, told that he was told that a woman was selling her household items, in whose belongings this ancient statue was found. After this, Marinello contacted Vijay Kumar, the co-founder of the India Pride Project, and he informed that the idol was from Lakheri village in UP, which had disappeared 40 years ago.
