No serious injury to any passenger, the phone was in the cargo hold of the cargo section of Airlines Flight 751
Generally, many incidents of fire in the phone kept in charging would have been heard. But a passenger’s Samsung phone caught fire on a flight to Alaska at the Seattle-Taco International Airport. The airport’s official tweet said that the phone was in the cargo hold of the cargo section of Alaska Airlines Flight 751.
As soon as the phone caught fire, the crew members immediately started trying to douse the fire. Fire extinguishers and battery control bags were used to put out the fire. However, none of the 128 passengers sitting on the plane suffered any serious injuries in the entire incident. But many people have suffered minor injuries. The device owner had confirmed the model of the phone to the authorities. According to reports, the phone was badly damaged, so it was not possible to identify it. But it was completely burnt.
Earlier this evening, POSFD responded to a report of a fire in the cargo hold of Alaska Airlines Flight 751. Upon arrival, the fire was contained and passengers and crew were evacuated from the aircraft. (1/2) pic.twitter.com/rY2cFgrmUH

However, the flight of any other flight has not been affected due to this incident. The aircraft was immediately diverted to another gate. Let us tell you that this is not the first incident when a phone has caught fire in the flight. This has happened many times before as well. Due to this many airlines have banned some phones.
