After winning the elections in Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party has swung into action. On the lines of Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party leaders have started raids in government offices and hospitals. On Tuesday, four Aam Aadmi Party MLAs raided several government offices and civil hospital in Punjab’s Moga district to take stock of the services provided there. MLA from Nahal Singh Wala Manjit Singh Bilaspur, MLA from Dharamkot Devender Singh Dhos, MLA from Baghapurana Amarpal Singh Sukhand and Dr Amarpreet Kaur also met Deputy Commissioner Harish Nair and SSP Charanjit Singh Sohal.
According to media reports, these newly elected MLAs, meeting the police officers, have complained about those officers who harass the public. Talking to the media, the MLAs said that the officers who have been staying in one place for a long time will be transferred. After this the number of government contractors will come. During checking in the hospitals, he found that even the primary level facilities were not available in the hospitals but he said that he would not get involved in administrative matters.
It is worth mentioning that Bhagwant Mann had promised the people of Punjab that if his government comes to power in Punjab, then the Aam Aadmi Party will form a good cabinet and take historic decisions. According to the information, Bhagwant Mann will take oath as the Chief Minister on March 16. He has appealed that everyone wear yellow turban and women yellow shawl on that day. The swearing-in ceremony of Bhagwant Mann will be held in Khatkar Kalan, the village of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, which comes in Nawanshahr district.
