Bangalore. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will emerge as a strong alternative to BJP, Congress and regional party JD(S) in Karnataka. AAP state president Prithvi Reddy gave this information on Friday.
Speaking to -AnyTV News, Prithvi Reddy said that the party’s resounding victory in Punjab has shown that AAP is not only confined to urban and metropolitan cities, but can also make a mark in agriculture and rural areas as well.
“Many big names are joining AAP in Karnataka in the next four to six weeks. Their names cannot be disclosed at the moment,” he said.
Reddy, who has worked closely with Delhi Chief Ministers Arvind Kejriwal and Anna Hazare, said the people of the country would see a big change in Punjab not in five years but in five to six months. The party will focus on the drug menace in Punjab. Youth in Punjab are affected by drug racket. There is a clear plan for drug menace and agriculture. This is a big plan. It is going to reach all the states of the country and good people will come forward to strengthen the party.
On the party’s plans for Bengaluru, he said the revolution that has been brought in New Delhi and Punjab will reach every household in the city.
Presenting comprehensive plans for the state, Prithvi Reddy said that in the next three months, AAP will get suitable candidates in all the constituencies of the state.
“We will give those candidates 9 to 10 months to reach every house in the constituency,” he said.
Hijab issue in Karnataka is a trap of BJP as they cannot show their work. Congress considers minorities as its vote bank whereas BJP considers majority Hindus as its vote bank. Reddy said that AAP caters to the needs of the poor and needy of all religions, who do not need religion and want something else, which AAP will take care of.
