Tallinn: A Russian court has imposed a fine of 50,000 rubles (560 US dollars) on TV presenter and actress Anastasia Ivleeva, who came into limelight after hosting a ‘nude’ party. The actress has been fined for defaming the army by calling for peace with Ukraine in her social media post. There was public anger against Ivleeva after she hosted a party in December at which guests were encouraged to arrive nearly naked.

He has been fined for two social media posts calling for peace and dialogue in the early days of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The court found him guilty of violating the law regarding comments defaming the military, although the law was passed several days after the post.

Ivleeva came into limelight after hosting a party in a Moscow nightclub. The invitation card he sent asked the guests to arrive almost naked as a ‘dress code’. A well-known rapper was also seen in very little clothes. Pictures of the party were widely circulated on social media. Public representatives, bloggers and others had strongly criticized such an event, calling it indecent for a country embroiled in war.
The actress replied to the critics
Party organizer Nastassia Ivleeva responded to the critics. He said, “We look at beautiful, slim Western models and say ‘Oh my God, she’s so beautiful, she’s so good.’ When our beautiful and fit actors come out, everyone says… ‘Oh, how can they do this?’
