The National Technical Advisory Committee on Immunization has approved the Corona Vaccine Kovovax of Serum Institute of India for immunization of adolescent girls between 12 and 17 years of age.
Friday’s day brought a big success in the war against the Corona epidemic. The new corona vaccine ‘Kovovax’ developed by the Serum Institute of India (SII) has been approved by the National Technical Advisor (NTAGI). However, information about when this vaccine will be started is not known yet.
It is worth noting that the review of Kovovax was to be done by NTAGI in the beginning of April. According to the news agency ANI, this vaccine of Serum Institute has been approved to be applied on adolescent girls between 12 and 17 years of age. It is worth noting that earlier the Drug Controller General of India had approved the use of Kovovax vaccine for adults on December 28 last year.
