He told Zelensky that India believes in a “human-centric” approach and the path to peace passes through “dialogue and diplomacy”. Modi met Zelensky during the G7 summit in the Apulia region of Italy.
Modi described the meeting with Zelensky as “very useful” and said India is looking forward to “further strengthening” bilateral ties with Ukraine. “Had a very useful meeting with (Ukraine’s) President Zelensky. India is looking forward to further strengthening bilateral ties with Ukraine,” Modi said on social media platform ‘X’. “Regarding the ongoing conflict (with Russia), (I) reiterated that India believes in a human-centric approach and believes that the path to peace lies through dialogue and diplomacy,” he said.
