New Delhi. The issue of suspension of 12 MPs from Rajya Sabha does not seem to stop. First the opposition’s protest in the houses, then the demonstration and now the MPs have taken a different stand against this suspension. A day before Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi resigned from Parliament TV, now Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has also taken a big decision after her. Shashi Tharoor has also refused to host the show of Parliament TV.
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has also quit hosting the show from Parliament TV, expressing displeasure over the suspension of 12 MPs from the monsoon session. He said that he will not anchor any show of Parliament TV till the suspension is revoked.

Thiruvananthapuram Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has been hosting the Parliament TV show ‘To the Point’ for a long time, but now he will not be seen hosting the show.
Actually Shashi Tharoor has distanced himself from the acting of this show. Shashi Tharoor also did a tweet regarding this. In this tweet, he has shared the letter, in which he has written that he will not host the program on ‘Parliament TV’ till the suspension of 12 members of Rajya Sabha is revoked and the bipartisan spirit is reflected in the proceedings of the Parliament.
The Congress MP said that, ‘I believed that it was in the best traditions of India’s parliamentary democracy to accept the invitation of Parliament TV to host a show. It reaffirms the principle that our political differences do not prevent us from participating fully in various parliamentary institutions as Members of Parliament.

Priyanka Chaturvedi has also resigned
Prior to Tharoor, Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi also distanced herself from Parliament TV programs. Priyanka Chaturvedi was anchoring the Sansad TV program ‘Meri Kahani’, from which she resigned.
In fact, Chaturvedi is among the 12 members of the Rajya Sabha who were suspended on November 29 for the remaining period of the session due to indiscipline and indecent conduct in the House.
