A shocking incident has come to light from Hubli, Karnataka. Here in the early hours of Wednesday, a young man crazy in unrequited love entered a girl’s house and stabbed her, resulting in her death. The accused had earlier warned the girl that she too would meet the same fate as Neha Hiremath, who was recently brutally stabbed to death in a college campus in Hubli.

Police said that the accused entered the girl’s house at 5:30 am and attacked the sleeping victim. The family members tried to save him, but he managed to escape after killing the girl. At that time the girl’s grandmother and two sisters were present in the house. The accused dragged the girl throughout the house, kicked her and stabbed her with a knife. After this he pushed her into the kitchen and then stabbed her with a knife. The incident took place in Veerapura Oni area of Bendigeri police station.
Blackmail to go to Mysuru
The deceased woman has been identified as Anjali Ambigera. The accused has been identified as Vishwa alias Girish. After the murder of MCA student Neha Hiremath, another such incident has shocked the city. Vishwa is still out of reach of the police. Family members told the police that he had threatened Anjali with the consequences of Neha Hiremath if she did not obey him. He was blackmailing Anjali to go to Mysuru with him without informing her family.
Grandmother had complained to the police
Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused has a criminal record in theft cases. He is known as a bike thief. Anjali’s grandmother Gangamma had informed the police about the threats from the accused a few days ago, but instead of taking the complaint seriously, the police sent her back, advising her not to worry too much.
