Pilot training is necessary
Actually, the first officer of the airlines has to land the first plane on the simulator before landing the plane full of passengers. For this training is organized. The captain also undergoes training on the simulator before giving the First Officer a chance to disembark. But this aircraft of Air Vistara was landed by the First Officer without a captain as well as without training on the simulator. This is a big game with the safety of air passengers and is like putting their lives in danger. One such lapse was reported during the landing in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, after which the DGCA started investigating the matter.
Such incidents are increasing
A recent survey conducted on air travelers has shown that the customer service of airlines has declined significantly since the Corona epidemic. According to the survey, 80 percent of the passengers feel that the airlines are compromising on the facilities of the passengers.
At the same time, after the corona epidemic, the number of passengers is increasing continuously. About 1.08 crore passengers traveled by domestic flights in the country during April, 2022. This figure is two percent more than in March. The DGCA had recently said in its monthly statement that the seat filling rate of all airlines in April was more than 78 per cent.
