Sandeep Patidar of Jiran did sandal cultivation for the first time in the district
Neemuch (Rep. of New Zealand). Small farmer Sandeep Patidar, resident of Jeeran of Neemuch district, has one hectare of land. Sandeep is an innovative farmer, who generally cultivates medicinal crops along with traditional crops. He is also one of the first two farmers to plant chia crop in the district. He has also planted an orange orchard in his 0:4 hectare land, which is currently seven years old. In the initial years, he has been taking Kharif and Rabi crops. But seeing the preparation of the field and other expenses again and again, he thought of doing something so that he would not have to sow again and again and get good income. Even if it takes some time.
The farmer Patidar thought about this and after churning his search ended on sandalwood. He started efforts to gather information about the cultivation of sandalwood. In this episode, he got the support of those farmers who were cultivating sandalwood from the past. After getting the necessary information, he brought 300 good quality white sandalwood saplings from Anand’s nursery in Gujarat and planted it as an intercrop between the rows of oranges in his orange orchard. Also, using the ridge, plant sandalwood plants on the ridge as well. Due to the partial host of sandalwood plant, red mehndi and cajurina plant were also planted along with it. Today, the sandalwood plants planted in his garden have turned two years old. Whose height has increased from 10 to 12 feet and 270 plants are currently alive. Sandalwood plants will be ready for sale in 10 to 12 years, due to which they will get good income. Farmer Patidan has made sandalwood cultivation successful by innovating for the first time in the district.

Devotees will pass through the chul at Shri Gurjarkheda Dham
Neemuch. Chul will be organized on Mahashivratri at Shri Gurjarkheda Dham located in village Javi.
