26 officers suspended
Regarding the total number of voters who did not cast their vote at those specific polling stations, he said, “There are two polling stations registered as 41/3 Natonglal Para JB School and 44/5 Sandaimohan Para JB School. The total number of voters at those polling stations is The number of eligible voters has been recorded as 649 and 1,059 respectively, with 41/3 having two votes, while in the others only 12 voters came to exercise their franchise.”
On redressal of complaints, the senior election official said, “A total of 92 complaints have been received and all of them have been disposed of. In the process, 26 election officials were suspended for violation of conduct rules.”
