Canaveral (Florida): AAmerica’s space mission has once again been postponed due to a malfunction in its Boeing aircraft. According to the information, due to a valve related fault in one of Boeing’s rocket, its first astronaut flight has been postponed till the end of next week. This has dealt a major blow to the American mission. An oxygen pressure-relief valve on the upper stage of United Launch Alliance’s Atlas-5 rocket opened and closed several times, creating a loud noise and halting the countdown to the spacecraft’s launch on Monday night. This has created disappointment among scientists.
Even before this, Boeing’s space mission has failed many times. Many times Boeing flights have had to be stopped due to some technical fault. It is being told that the company’s engineers discovered on Tuesday that the valve has gone out of its prescribed operating limit and now it will have to be removed. Only after this a plan will be prepared to re-release the mission. After this problem was detected, it was decided that the launch would not be done before May 17.
