The political dispute between Shiv Sena chief and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his cousin Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has now found a new battlefield. Its name is Ayodhya. Raj Thackeray has announced his visit to Ayodhya on June 5, his first visit to the Ram temple city. Before Raj Thackeray leaves for Ayodhya, his nephew Aaditya Thackeray is likely to visit the Ram temple.
Maharashtra CM’s son and Tourism and Environment Minister in the Maha Vikas Aghadi government Aaditya Thackeray is likely to visit Ayodhya in May to pay tribute to Lord Ram. However, no official date for his Ayodhya visit has been announced by the Shiv Sena so far.

He along with his father Uddhav Thackeray had earlier visited Ayodhya on 24 November 2018 and 7 March 2020.
The saint community in Ayodhya is more inclined to welcome Raj Thackeray because of the changed relationship between the BJP and the Shiv Sena. Ramesh Das, the chief priest of Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya, said, “Shiv Sena has abandoned the ideology of the late Balasaheb Thackeray, the founder of the party. He is no longer a supporter of Hindutva. Instead, the party is following a policy of Muslim appeasement. ,
Das said that the saint community in Ayodhya is not waiting for Aaditya Thackeray to visit Ayodhya. Vishwa Hindu Parishad regional spokesperson Sharad Sharma said, “Recently, Raj Thackeray has changed his politics. His politics was no longer based on anti-North Indian rhetoric. He is trying to consolidate the political space left vacant by Shiv Sena in Maharashtra politics. ,
Sharma further added, “Welcome everyone to Ayodhya. Aaditya Thackeray is also welcome. But Shiv Sena is no longer what it used to be during the time of late Balasaheb Thackeray. Let us tell you that Shiv Sena has donated ₹ 1 crore for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
