The entire path of the missile was tracked through range sensors, electro-optical tracking systems and telemetry. The flight of this missile was also tracked by the Sukhoi SU-30-MK-1 fighter jet of the Air Force. The missile met all the test parameters. During testing, Nirbhay missile covered a distance of 864 km. Achieved a speed of 1111 km per hour. This missile also has terrain hugging capability. Terrain Hugging Capability is a condition in which it becomes extremely difficult to disable it by targeting it. Due to this technology, this missile of India is going to cause trouble for the enemy countries. A special feature of this missile is that it can be fired from both sea and land through missile launchers.
The missile can destroy the target by flying at least 50 meters above the ground and maximum 4 kilometers above the ground. The ITC missile is 6 meters long and 0.52 meters wide. The total length of its wings is 2.7 meters. This missile can carry weapons up to 300 kg. Nirbhay missile is capable of destroying any target up to a range of 1500 km. Let us tell you that DRDO is the Research and Development wing of the Ministry of Defense, Government of India, which aims to empower India with state-of-the-art defense technologies and achieve self-reliance in critical defense technologies and systems by equipping our armed forces with state-of-the-art defense technologies. .
