In fact, after extensive research by the agricultural scientists of Kuwait, it has been found that the use of indigenous cow dung in the form of powder in the date crop has shown expected increase in production along with increase in fruit size. India is the largest exporter of cow dung and most of the shipments were to the Maldives, the United States and Malaysia. Keep in mind that in Muslim countries like Kuwait, the demand for cow dung of Indian cows has increased at a time when all Muslim countries of the Gulf are demanding boycott of Indian products in protest against the statement of former BJP national spokesperson Nupur Sharma.
