The athletics competitions will be held at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium from September 29 to October 5, showcasing the extraordinary talents of athletes from across Asia.
India boasts a huge representation, with a total of 655 athletes competing in 39 different sporting disciplines. The athletic contingent, numbering 68, is the largest contingent fielded by India in any sporting event.
The team consists of 35 male and 33 female athletes, representing a balanced representation of gender diversity within the team.

The Indian mixed and women’s 4x400m relay teams, champions of the last Asian Games, are set to rock the track with their formidable presence. Meanwhile, there are high expectations from the men’s relay team which achieved an Asian record at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest.
