Chandra said, on the eve of World Women’s Day, I congratulate all women voters. Last year too, the participation of women in five assembly elections had increased. In Assam 82.4 per cent, Kerala 76.5 per cent, Tamil Nadu 73 per cent, West Bengal 82 per cent and Puducherry 83.4 per cent women voters cast their votes.
