Summary

Uttar Pradesh: BJP-SP increased, BSP-Congress decreased
- BJP: This time it got 41.38 percent votes as against 39.67 percent in 2017. It required an increase of 2.13 percent votes, but the number of seats decreased from 312. This time NDA BJP managed to win only 255 seats.
- SP: This time it has got 32.03 percent more votes than 21.82 percent in 2017 and went to 111 seats. It has consolidated its position as the main opposition party in the state.
- BSP: In 2017, it got 22.23 percent votes, this time there was a sharp decline and it got reduced to 12.83%. The seat was also got the same, whereas five years ago 19 seats were received.
- Congress: The vote of Congress in the state was 6.25 percent in 2017, this time it has come down to 2.35 percent.
Uttarakhand: Congress votes just increased here
