New Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is currently in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED). In response, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders have called for nationwide protests. As a result, protests are taking place in various parts of Delhi against the arrest. The matter has escalated so much that the matter has reached the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, Delhi Police has taken into custody Delhi government ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj. After his detention, Saurabh Bhardwaj said that there is complete dictatorship going on here. Arvind Kejriwal’s family members have been placed under house arrest and are not allowed to meet anyone. Peaceful protests are being suppressed and access to the IT cell has been restricted. Whereas a minute ago, we could have reached the IT cell, the police are now preventing us from doing so.
The central government is being accused of dictatorship. The allegation is that this dictatorship is being implemented only to win the Lok Sabha elections. Wherever people are, there will be protest. These protests will not stop. No repression can stop the revolution. The more the Prime Minister presses, the more opposition will emerge. Kejriwal is becoming a symbol in every street and every locality. “Stand with Kejriwal” is the number one trend worldwide. People are distressed by the way the central government is trying to crush dissent. Our party, which was once considered a symbol of democracy, is now becoming a victim of repression by the central government.
Three demands will be presented in the court. Saurabh Bhardwaj said that he will present three demands in the court: permission for Arvind Kejriwal to meet his family, meet his lawyers and perform his official duties. The entire family has been placed under house arrest and they are not allowed to meet anyone. This is complete dictatorship. It is noteworthy that this matter has reached the Supreme Court, where Abhishek Manu Singhvi will represent Arvind Kejriwal. After the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal, protests are continuously increasing.
