Guwahati: An attempt has been made to hack the Facebook account of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma. He gave this information on social media platform X on Tuesday night. He says that possibly Pakistani hackers tried to hack his Facebook account. He said that investigation is underway to identify the people making such attempts.
He posted on X, ‘Unknown hackers attempted to hack my Facebook account this evening. “Preliminary information suggests that the hacker may be working from Pakistan.”
Hemant Vishwa Sharma shared a screenshot of his Facebook account’s settings which showed that four people from India and one person from Pakistan were managing it. At present, Himanta Vishwa Sharma’s account is completely recovered. The attempt to hack his account happened at a time when he is targeting Pakistan in his statements every day.
